Bespoke Photography Training - charlesthody

I have a proven reputation in teaching and offer a number of courses for various levels of experience in photography. All my courses are very adaptable to personal and group need and can be delivered in 1:1, small group or large venue contexts.

For individual or for two people, accommodation is also available at my B&B, situated next to my Observatory. Equally, I am more than happy to travel (some travel expenses may be required, depending upon distance).

An Introduction to Digital Photography - introducing participants to the basics of digital photography, even if they have never picked up a camera! Designed to ensure participants end the day confident in picking up a camera, not always using the automatic settings and understand the basics of image composition and equipment handling.

Advanced Digital Photography - designed as a follow up to my "Introduction to Digital Photography" course, or as a standalone course for those who already use a digital camera but need to move on to the next level. I can bespoke content  to meet the specific requirements of the client or clients. The Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts have regularly booked me to train their employees, to enable them to cover various genres of photography, from event and conference cover to wildlife photography.

Introduction to Astro-Imaging - with a remotely operated robotic observatory at my disposal, I am well suited to introducing people to the world of astro-imaging. Once again, this session can be customised to meet requirements. I have delivered sessions to astronomers and amateur photographers alike, from large groups to individual students.

Advanced Astro-Imaging - designed to assist those who are entering this genre in setting up equipment and using some of the software available for imaging and processing. For small groups and individuals this can be delivered from my observatory - for larger groups this can be delivered at their venue, with an internet connection allowing live connection to my observatory and equipment (clouds permitting of course!) The course is not weather dependent - live views of the sky are an added bonus when conditions allow!
