For the first time in more than 50 years, two Lancaster Bombers flew together, on the 13th August 2014, at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire. These are the only two airworthy Lancasters in the world, one based at Coningsby and one in Canada, flown over specially to tour for a few weeks through the summer. To any aviation enthusiast, this was a truly remarkable event and these images were captured during the weeks the two spent together in August and September 2014.
